Changes in traffic organization to Banach
On the first weekend of March, the Warsaw Trams will change traffic organization on ul. Banach at the intersection with Grójecka. The tram traffic to the Banach loop will be suspended. This is a short episode, so only stops on the loop will remain without service. The changes will apply at least until the end of the year.
Trams 1, 14 and 25 will not reach the Banach loop. The « 1 » route will be extended to the P+R al. Krakowska, and variant courses to pl. Narutowicz. Also on a loop at pl. Narutowicz will end routes 7, 14 and 25. « 9 » and « 15 » as before to the P+R al. Krakowska.
Travel routes for buses: 154, 157, 167, 191, 208, 414, 521 and night N01, N43 will not change. A bus stop of the Warsaw Battle of 1920 will be liquidated. 06, i.e. the one where buses driving towards the West Railway Station stopped. In return, buses will take passengers from a stop located at a closed tram stop on ul. Banach (Battle of Warsaw 56). Access to the Central Clinical Hospital will continue to be possible by buses running ul. Banach, Pawiński, Żwirki and Wigury (these are 128, 136, 154, 172, 175, 186, 188, 191, 414, 504).
With changes on ul. Banacha also has to count drivers. On the section from ul. The road leading towards the Battle of Warsaw will be closed to Grójecka. Traffic in both directions will take place on the road leading towards ul. Żwirki and Wigury. At the intersection with Grójecka, drivers will be able to go straight, towards ul. Battle of Warsaw or turn right, in Grójecka and to the center. Priority will get buses going straight, so as not to block them, you will not be able to turn left towards Al. Krakowska. The detour will lead ul. Pawiński and Dickens.
