Changes in Klaipeda district government

Ligita Liutikienė has also been a new position since last week – she became the Vice -Mayor of Klaipėda District.

The changes occurred after the Klaipėda District Municipality announced at the end of February that Sigitas Karbauskas, Director of Klaipėda District Municipality Administration, left the post.

Mayor Bronius Markauskas signed an ordinance, by which S. Karbauskas was dismissed in the event of the loss of political trust.

J. Bardauskas, the new head of administration, has journalistic experience and has been working in Klaipeda district municipality for six years.

J. Bardauskas asserted that he will continue the municipal work and will try to ensure the smooth work of the administration.

« We have the tasks formed by the council, the tasks set out in Klaipeda mayor B. Markauskas.

J. Bardauskas, who was the mayor’s adviser, admitted that he had been able to get acquainted with the problems of the district during that time.

« The processes are known, the team is familiar, only responsibilities – others, bigger, » assured J. Bardauskas.

J. Bardauskas was born in 1981, graduated from Mykolas Romeris University and has received a master’s degree.
