Changes at the top of the Croatian Forests: Here’s who changes Dujic
Zeljko Bodrozic should sit on the head of the Croatian Forests, as an acting duties, unofficially learns RTL today. It is a longtime employee of the Croatian Forests and a non -partisan frame, proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture, which should perform the function until the completion of the public tender for the permanent CEO.
« I have been in forestry for 40 years, I have led the forestry for 24 years, I have been dissatisfied with injustice. I’m going to try to do it – it goes, it’s not going, it’s not going. I will be the CEO of Croatian Forests for two days, so I go home if he is not mine, » said Bodrozic sincerely.
His appointment comes after the Government has resolved the former head of Nediljak Dujic almost four months ago, but the new acting act has not yet been formally appointed. The downtime occurred, among other things, due to an investigation into the European Commission, which is open to examine whether the state support that Croatia has allegedly assigned to Croatian forests and individual carpenters was in accordance with the European Union rules.
« Due to the European Commission’s investigation, I believe that the new administration would only slow down the process now, » Agriculture Minister David Vlajcic said in March. However, the Ministry says the exchange of documents with Brussels is now over.
The MP Josip Dabro also played a big role in staffing changes. After leaving himself resigned because of the weapons scope, Dabro requested the departure of Dujic, pointing to, he claims, numerous irregularities in the work of Croatian forests. Dujic rejected the accusations, but the government still dismissed the complete administration in the closed part of the session.
« If we cannot change the bad administration, my support is gone here, » was clear Dabro, whose hand was crucial when confirming the new Minister of Agriculture.
« The messages of Joseph Dabra took seriously, the new administration will deal with that, » the new Minister Vlajcic said.
Bodrozic, who should take over the top of the company, announces that he will try to make specific changes.
« I’ve been in the forests all my life, I’m a forestry engineer. It’s my profession. I love forests, I love Slavonia. We are underrated – what do we have from the forest from this area? If I spend anything, I will be happy and satisfied. If not, I will thank the Minister and the Prime Minister – and go home, to my hazelnut, enjoy a retirement, » said the future acting act.
In parallel with this process, the Croatian Forests also deals with the State Attorney’s Office, which launched an investigation based on the application of Dujic’s administration itself.
