Celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Pope’s death. We know what it will look like in Rome


Although almost 20 years have passed since the death of one of the greatest Poles, John Paul II still remains one of the most important popes. Celebrations commemorating the Holy Father have already begun in Rome. « When this great Pole became a pope, our state could not have his representation with him. There was no Polish embassy at the Holy See. And today there is and proudly waved on it a white and red flag. For this we should also be grateful to Saint John Paul II »-he reminded during mass and concert in the Polish church of St. Stanisław BM in Rome.

The faithful still remember about the Polish Pope. In front of his grave in the Basilica of St. Peter can be found every day praying. It happens that there are no places in the benches in front of the Holy Father’s grave. People behind them and remember John Paul II.
