The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia will hold a public session on the organs and bodies of CCM on Wednesday and the bodies and bodies of the CCM trade unions, which will start from the Workers’ home at 12:05 pm. The participants will continue to the Parliament, the Chamber of Commerce and the Government where the session will continue from which the messages will be sent « There can be no MPs, and not for the workers! », « The worker’s outstretched hand today can easily become a fist tomorrow! » And « Unable to decide for us, without us! »

According to CCM today, the public session is after the decision of the CCM Presidency of 28 March this year in order to express public opinion on the realization of social and economic interests for the protection of labor rights and the right to freedom of association and trade union organization.

– MPs in the Assembly elected by the workers to propose and vote for CCM’s proposal for an additional increase in the minimum wage by 6,000 denars, as well as increasing all other salaries in the private sector with the increase in the minimum wage. Not to vote for laws that reduce workers’ rights to the detriment of workers, as if they do not vote for laws to reduce their privileges – the statement said.

According to CCM, the bosses of the Chamber of Commerce accept the outstretched hand of workers to increase wages in order to retain qualified workers in the country because, as they say, at least 15,000 workers and citizens leave Macedonia every year, so if the salaries do not increase, they will be the main culprit for the exodus.

– The government to stand by workers, stop deciding unilaterally to the detriment of workers, respect social dialogue and stop attacks on trade unions and attempts to silence workers. The government as the largest employer, to increase the salaries of public sector employees in accordance with the General Collective Public Sector Collective Agreement, branch collective agreements, employer -level collective agreements, as well as to harmonize them with the minimum wage in accordance with special laws – reads the statement from CCM.
