Caution the elderly, young children and pregnant women
The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Kociu, today conveyed through a message from Eugena Tomin, director of the Institute of Public Health, some valuable tips to protect against high temperatures, while emphasizing the fact that young children, the elderly, pregnant women or patients with chronic diagnoses are more exposed to the risk.
The Director of the PHI appeals to eliminate peak hours from 11.00 to 6pm, as well as all chronically ill patients to follow the recommendation of the family and specialist.
« Wear lightweight, cotton and easier colored clothes. Drink water even if we are not thirsty, as much fluid during this season. Avoid as many peak hours as possible. If you have to park the car or enter parking spaces, you should not leave young children, as well as adulthood. Hygiene remains an equally important factor.‘said Tomini.
