Castelli Romani seduction / day

The idea is born thanks to the fact that I have chosen Fraskati as a place for accommodation – a nice and peaceful town for half an hour from the center of Rome. It is so infinitely pleasant in the evenings after looking at the ancient city to return to a place where tourist crowds, overexpensive restaurants and intrusive souvenir merchants do not have to be avoided! Here you can indulge in leisurely walks, enjoying local benefits and relaxing.

Unwittingly, the question arises on the horizon: how would it be to throw peace to visit the famous objects and gigantic museums of Rome and instead explore other villages in the neighborhood?

Volcanic residence

The first of the Castelli Romani villages, which I have pursued for the day’s recommendation to this day is Castella Gandolfo. The village on the banks of Albano, which has conveniently entered on the remains of the volcanic crater, is considered one of the most scenic villages in Italy. I am aware of the suspicions that Italy is excessively rich in neat villages and that each of them could be hanging out « one of the most beautiful » shill. But let it be nice, then nice!
