Car overturns, the driver and is injured in life threatening

A 41-year-old driver was seriously injured in an accident on Saturday afternoon on Bundesstraße 4 in the district of Coburg. According to the police, the man had not taken into account the right of way and overlooked another vehicle in which a couple was sitting. The couple was seriously injured.

The 41-year-old wanted to cross the street around 5.40 p.m. In doing so, he overlooked a car coming from the left. Due to the impact, the driver’s car overturned. It was caught in the wreck and had to be released by the fire brigade. Due to the accident, the 41-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries and was removed with a rescue helicopter.

The couple in the other car suffered serious injuries. The B4 was closed in both directions until the night. Total damage occurred on both vehicles.
