Car falls from bridge into river – driver dies
Spectacular commitment to the rescue workers: On the night of Sunday shortly after midnight, the CGDIS was alerted to the border with Germany in Wasserbillig. There a car had strayed from the road and fell into the sour. Three occupants were injured. The ambulance from Mertert, the Samu from Luxembourg, the CIS from Mertert and Manternach, the water rescue team (GSAQ) as well as the fire brigade and emergency services from the municipality of Trier-Land were deployed.
As was now known on Tuesday, a 35-year-old man lost to Langsur (district of Trier-Saarburg) in Langsur (district) and control over his car at excessive speed. He collided with the bridge railing on the opposite lane, which gave up, so that the car fell into the sour.
The driver was seriously injured to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The other two inmates aged 38 and 46 were slightly injured.
Divers clean reservoirs: less and less garbage
Shortly before midnight, a driver was driven against a tree on the N33 between Kayler Poteau and Rümelingen, and a person was injured.
