Capri is electric in new times
Ford sent the Ford Explorer electric model to the market last year, and now it adds a technically similar, yet quite differently designed car named Ford Capri.

It has a related base as an electric Volkswagen, but if Explorer is closer to VW ID.4, Capri is closer ID.5. It is 463 centimeters long, almost 20 more than Explorer. Outwardly, this crossbreed has a more coupe line, which wants to recall at least about the former model with this name. It also differs from Explorer in other lights.
Inside, this is a spacious, airy car, and in both passenger rows in a boot that, with 572 liters, far exceeds the one in Explorer. Behind the wheel, the similarities with Explorer are expected to be more, and the movable upright center screen also stands out here.
That being said, the modern -day Capri is completely electric, it can have a rear or four -wheel drive. The propulsion power also varies from 125 or 210 kW for rear drive and 250 kW in the case of four -wheeled. Similarly, the battery has three capacity: 52, 77 or 79 kWh.
Like Explorer, Capria is made at the Ford factory in Cologne, which is only intended for electric cars after last year’s complete renovation.
Capri is slightly more expensive than Explorer, costing 39 thousand euros before the subsidy, that is, with the smallest battery. If it is medium, it costs at least 46 thousand and with a four -wheel drive it is appreciated at 48 thousand. Of course, they offer various campaigns conditioned by financing, which needs to be well checked how favorable they are. They expect to sell 50 Capria specimens this year.
