« Capitulated »: Trump has promised the Hutt will no longer attack ships in the Red Sea
The Huts will end attacks on ships in the Red Sea after reaching an agreement with the United States, reached by Oman’s mediation, the BBC reported.
The news was confirmed by US President Donald Trump, who said on Tuesday that the United States would stop attacking the Huts in Yemen because the group was « capitulated ». There is no confirmation from the Huts.
« (The Huts) just don’t want to fight and we will respect him and we will stop the bombing, and they are capitulating, » the US president said.
Shortly thereafter, the Oman Foreign Minister reported a message that the parties would stop attacking each other, « guaranteeing the freedom of shipping and the trouble -free movement of international commercial shipping. »
The United States intensified air strikes against them in March, claiming that they had hit 1000 targets in Yemen.

Speaking in the oval office on Tuesday, Trump said the Hutt « would no longer blow up ships. »
