Karin and her husband used to be professional horse trainers and come from the Netherlands. He later started a demolition company and became a full -time caregiver of the camels and two old horses.
Only two weeks ago it became known that the family urgently is looking for a new home for the animals, because they can no longer stay at the current location on Biezenhoek in Poederlee (Lille). First the Nature and Forest Agency made it difficult, but the animals could still move to a tent near the neighbors. But that land will now be sold and built on. Although Betty is no longer there, the family is still looking for a new place for the other animals.
