Calls for violent acts in Tiktok arrested 24-year-old

Specialized State Police structures, during social networking monitoring, found posts published by a false address on the TIKTOK social network, where a citizen was calling for acts of violence. Immediately, the Directorate for Investigation of Cybercrime in the Criminal Police Department of State Police began work to identify the perpetrator of these posts.

Thanks to close cooperation with the platforms of social networks and specialized investigative actions, the Directorate for Investigation of Cyber ​​Crimes made it possible to identify the perpetrator of violent materials, enabling immediate intervention to prevent the possible event.

In cooperation with the Tirana Anti -Terrorism Unit and the Durres Police Local Directorate (Manza Police Station), citizen Devis Faruku, 24, resident of the Vegetable neighborhood, Sukth, Durres, was apprehended and escorted, which at the conclusion of the actions was detained for the offenses of « Public Calls for Violent Acts » and « Production, Purchase ».

In one of the videos, this citizen called on citizens to watch and follow the moment of burning a State Police car, publicly promoting a serious act of violence and attempting to promote dangerous public reactions.

Meanwhile, the Directorate of Anti -Terror is following the case, following the relevant procedures under the applicable legislation of the Republic of Albania and assessing the impact and dangerousness of the messages distributed on the network.

The State Police remains maximally engaged in preventing the spread of violent content and protecting public order and security. We invite citizens to denounce any similar case, guaranteeing immediate response and legal prosecution to any act that violates security and public order.
