Called the gendarmes to catch a snake

It was a hectic weekend for the Vâlceni gendarmes. They have been called several times to remove the bears that attacked the animals from the households.

In several localities in Vâlcea, this weekend, the presence of wild animals, especially bears, announced the representatives of the County Gendarmes Inspectorate (IJJ) Vâlcea, which recommends to the population and tourists especially in the northern part of the county.

According to the institution’s spokesman, George Tacăle, the gendarmes have been requested in the last hours in the localities of Berislăveşti, Brezoi and Perişani, where the bears attacked domestic animals from the households.

And if they were accustomed to such interventions, the other seemed to be special. In Drăgăşani, the intervention crews were called to catch a snake that had entered a store.

« On Sunday, around 7:00 pm, the gendarmes intervened in the municipality of Drăgăşani, after a call to 112 announced the presence of a snake inside a supermarket. The gendarmes recommend to the population that, in the situation in which they observe the presence of wild animals near homes or in areas frequented by humans, to call immediately 112, to avoid approaching them and not trying to drive or feed them.
