CAA marked June 7th, World Safe Food Day

The Food and Veterinary Agency (CAA) also joined and supports the global initiative this year and marked June 7, World Safe Food Day. With an educational and sporty recreational event for citizens and children, today in the Park Airplane in the Skopje settlement of Novo Lisice were given educational leaflets for food safety, and the smallest sports and recreational games were held to affirm the safety of food.

On June 10, on Tuesday, with support and cooperation with the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA), the CAA will hold an event to raise public awareness of food safety that will be attended by renowned EFSA representatives, scientific and other institutions related to food production issues and its safety.

This year’s motto of World Safe Food Day – June 7 is « Science in Action » today, according to the CAA, reminiscent of the importance of science as a basic link from the safe food chain.
