Butinge Oil Terminal – Firefighters Exercise

In the territory of the Orlean Lietuva terminal, the primary actions of the oil reservoir were modeled.

During the exercise, a oil reservoir fire was simulated throughout the cache area.

The dispatcher of the Mazeikiai Objective Fire and Rescue Board Operational Management Division imitated forces.

Three teams of Mažeikiai Objective Fire Board, as well as Klaipėda Fire and Rescue Board and Palanga Fire and Rescue Service, participated in the exercise.

Fire and forces were intended to carry out a burning reservoir intelligence, turn on the cooling of the adjacent reservoir and prepare for the foam attack.

Along with the water foam cannon and Lafetic syringe, the elbow lift was also used in the surgery burning tank.

Firefighters rescued with the tasks well handled – the simulated fire was liquidated.

The extinguishing equipment, fire water supply and fire station and equipment were checked by experience in coordinating actions with other services.

The exercise is said to have helped the participants gain valuable experience by imitating a possible event and actions.
