But what he said afterwards, crushed her altogether
The shocking story was shared by the woman – who has chosen to remain anonymous – on the popular forum Reddit. Here she revealed that she found out that her husband had been unfaithful after overhearing a conversation between him and another woman via their baby alarm.
The mother explains that she often takes their 15 -month -old son home to her mother when her husband works long days. This time, however, she accidentally came to leave one of the baby alarms on at home before going home to her mother.
While taking care of their child, she randomly overheard a telephone conversation that her husband was doing. In her post on Reddit, she shared what she heard him say, « I love you, honey, » followed by a woman who answered with the same words.
« I also heard he said he was free tomorrow. He had conveniently not sent me his schedule, so I didn’t know, » the woman told me.
She quickly realized that the couple had had an affair for months. After being taken on a fresh deed, the man admitted the affair, but claimed he had ended it. But the woman couldn’t bear to look at him.
« I asked him if he would still work on the relationship and he said, ‘I’m here alone, and am true to you. Why can’t you just move on?’, » She continued.
It also turned out that he had had his mistress with them – even in their bed. Shocked and repelled, the woman continued to monitor her husband via the baby alarm as she was unable to believe that he had really ended the affair.
Her suspicion was later confirmed when she noticed that he seemed distracted during a conversation.
« A few days ago he talked on the phone with her, and while he was talking to her he sent me a message. Then he got a call and said, ‘Sorry, honey. This is important. I have to take it’, » she wrote.
Eventually, she had had enough and admitted that she is now keeping her son away from him and also moving out of their common home.
« It makes me sick to go there and pretend everything is okay until I get a lawyer. But it also makes me sick to think that she has been in my home again (yes, he has had her in my home and in my bed), » she wrote frustrated.
In the commentary, a large number of users shared the same advice for the woman.
« I honestly would make your mother come over and be there. Make it as troublesome as possible for him, » a user wrote.
« He has probably told her that you have broken apart, so if he can no longer have her at home with you, it will cause her to suspect.
