Burglary by 70 percent – Diepresse.com
From a record gain in 2023 to a burglary of 70 percent in 2024: Stellantis's car company has had a difficult year, especially in the United States.
It was undoubtedly the biggest surprise in the auto industry last year. Started in early December Carlos Tavares as head of the multimarking group of Stellantis, although his contract would have been running until 2026. Officially there was no explanation for the resignation of the titanium in the car industry. Since Wednesday, however, one has been speculating about the reasons: because the annual figures of Stellantis show a decline in the net profit of 70 percent and a negative cash flow.
All car companies are currently not doing very well. Even the premium manufacturer Mercedes had to accept a minus of 28 percent when winning in 2024. The slump in Stellantis, which includes the brands Jeep, Peugeot, Opel and Alfa Romeo, is dramatic.
The group's turnover, based in the Netherlands, fell by 17 percent last year to 156.9 billion euros, deliveries by twelve percent to 5.4 million vehicles. The bottom line was that a net profit of 5.5 billion euros was 70 percent less than in 2023.
