Burduja convened the energy command, after the weather alerts
Energy distribution networks do not face significant problems, at present, at national level, being around 2400 non -food consumers, following the damage caused by the trees on the air lines, Sebastian Burduja announced on Sunday evening.
‘From today until Thursday evening almost the whole country is under a yellow code of very cold weather, haze and frost on the ground, mixed rainfall and wind intensifications. In this context, I convened the energy command to analyze the real -time situation and develop the intervention plans. At this moment, in distribution networks we do not face significant problems. At the national level, there are around 2400 non -food consumers, following the damage caused by the trees fallen on the air lines. The incidents are in Botoșani, Suceava, Neamț, Dolj and Ialomița counties. Over 100 teams of the distribution operators are in the field and repair the damage, so in 2-3 hours we estimate that all consumers will be reflected with electricity ‘, the minister wrote on his Facebook page.
He claimed that, in the context of bad weather alerts received from the National Meteorology Administration, the authorities expect a higher daily consumption of natural gas, around 34-35 million NM3 (normal cubic meters, no).
‘With a stock in deposits of 829 million NM3 and an internal production of 24-25 million NM3, there is no scenario in any situation in which we face problems in ensuring gas supply. These days we will extract from the deposits from Ghercești and Sărmăşel 3.8-4 million NM3. Moreover, we are already in implementation with the program for refilling deposits for next winter. Today I stored in the warehouses from Urziceni and Bălăceanca 4 million NM3 ‘, said Sebastian Burduja.
From the point of view of the consumption of electricity, the Minister of Energy has shown that the evening peaks will be recorded (20, 21) over the normal period, around 8000mW, but there are no problems of adequacy at the level of the national energy system.
According to the quoted source, these days the production at the Iron Gates is maximum, the coal stocks at CE Oltenia are increasing, and the degree of filling of the lakes is also increasing, already exceeding 60%.
‘Fortunately, we do not meet and do not anticipate significant problems at this time, and this is due to the experts in the Romanian energy sector, from the operators of transport and distribution of electricity and gases, producers and to the national energy dispatch. We monitor the situation constantly, « Burduja wrote.
Most of the country is on Sunday under the yellow code of wind intensifications, blizzard and snow layer, according to the National Meteorological Administration.
Thus, until 23:00, there will be periods when the wind will have intensifications with 50 … 70 km/h. In the mountain, the bursts will be 75 … 85 km/h, and at over 1700 m of 90 … 100 km/h and temporarily will be a blizzard.
There will be mixed rainfall in the south of the territory, and the rest will predominate the snowfall, which will be locally and temporarily.
