Professors and Deans, who have supported student protest requirements and did not hold salaries, were reduced.

Students have been blocking almost all of the Faculty of State and require punishment responsible for the fall of the canopy in Novi Sad, the fight against corruption and a fundamental change in society.

What does the strike committee require?

The Strike Committee also requests to prevent the penalties to encourage violence through hate speech and threatening criminal persecution through the media, « since or with the consent of » state officials.

They also require the advocating student return to continue and completing the school year, but through the fulfillment of the strike committee, as well as the requests of students in the blockade.

« A strike employee should be protected from cancellations, even though I have no hints that something like that planned to us.

« As for wages, I don’t know whether there will be any difference in relation to the salary, because we have received income tax, » says Professor Milosevic, a member of the Medical Faculty of Strike.

« We have considered other faculties, but we didn’t wait for everyone to sync, because it was a process that would last considerably longer.

What does a strike look like?

The decision on the entry into the strike was confirmed 30. April on the so-called Mesopenum of Student and Teaching Staff representatives, the Fonet Agency reports.

Health services, scientific research activities and specializations will continue to be performed, teachers and associates will participate in consultation with students, but other forms of teaching such as lectures, exercises, seminars or colloquia will not be organized.

Employees will participate every day from 11:52 p.m. to pay tribute to the victims in Novi Sad, « except if there would be a danger of life or human health ».
