BUND should pay immediately for leisure educators – Diepresse.com
A regulation only in the context of a new financial equalization law according to December 31, 2028, is « not acceptable », says the urban district chairman, Innsbruck Mayor Johannes Anzengruber.
The Tyrolean representatives presented the new federal government before the city day of the Austrian Association of the Austrian Association in Eisenstadt from Wednesday to Friday. Specifically, the Tyrolean City Association, chaired by Innsbruck Mayor Johannes Anzengruber (yes – now Innsbruck), demanded that the federal government had to bear the costs for the leisure educators in the school and education sector.
In contrast, a regulation or consideration of the topic in a new financial equalization law after the non-strength of the current on December 31, 2028 was « not acceptable », the letter to the federal organization of the city association said. In addition, Anzengruber and his Tyrolean colleagues also had more in the talon of claims: The financial assignment to the municipalities, which is only granted this year « to ensure sustainable housekeeping » by the federal government, must also take place for the following years – until the discharge of the financial equalization law 2024.
Country representatives from the west at FA negotiations
And last but not least, one urges the Western region of Austria, as was made clear to the APA: A representative of the western federal states must also be consulted in the future negotiations on financial equalization – this requirement is also supported by Vorarlberg and Salzburg. All of these Tyrolean concerns, which were unanimously decided by the board of the state group, should be discussed, taken into account, and then also represented by the federal government.
After all, the state group « a total of 300,000 Tyroleans » represented, as Anzengruber emphasized. The cities would be under massive financial pressure because of the austerity measures – so more federal support is needed. (APA)
