Brought from Thailand drugs into dogfighting – how they found him

Member of a spiral transporting drugs in dog nutrition packs arrested his executives SDOE Attica in collaboration with the Department of Drugs and Weapons of the SDOE Attica Operational Directorate with the Customs of the Customs Office of the « Eleftherios Venizelos » Airport.

In particular, a 38 -year -old resident was arrested from abroad and received a parcel containing drugs after a controlled postal parcel delivery operation, derived from Thailand with a final destination in Greece, containing 2 kg and 500 grams of vegetables.

They came hidden in dog food packages

The drugs were thoroughly hidden within five plastic packaging between dog nutrition packages, which had been used as a medium of concealment to mislead the law enforcement authorities.

The 38 -year -old man appeared on the spot, who displayed a police card, with the details of the recipient and, after signing in a relevant form and receiving the controversial parcel, intervened and the perpetrator was arrested.

During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the police officer shown by the detainee had recently been stolen in the Omonia area and belonged to another person who had declared his loss to a competent security department.

Further investigation is being carried out to associate with other cases and investigating possible missions from abroad and other drug parcels using counterfeit recipients obtained from stylized documents.
