Brothers suspected of degrading videos in care institutions remain arrested, girlfriend free under certain conditions (inland)

Three of the four suspects arrested for degrading treatment in care institutions in the Flemish Ardennes appeared again on Friday before the council chamber in Oudenaarde. The two brothers remain arrested. The 21-year-old girlfriend of the youngest brother was released under certain conditions, but without electronic supervision.
The brothers ND (18) and MD (21) appeared on Friday together with ZB (21), the girlfriend of ND, before the council chamber in Oudenaarde. The two brothers have been in jail for degrading treatment of residents in different healthcare institutions for two months.

The two brothers are arrested, the council chamber did not release them. They stay in jail for another month. ZB was released a month ago with an ankle band and conditions. She can now go home with strict conditions, but without electronic supervision.
Inconvenient videos
Last week the size of the scandal with degrading films in residential care centers and hospitals in the Flemish Ardennes became clear. The brothers worked for a while in the Oudenaardse Woonzorgcentrum Meerspoort. A resident there filed a complaint with the police for the theft of a gold ring and 15 euros. The researchers arrived at the young brothers and viewed their mobile phones, on which they discovered inconvenient videos.
22 Victims
In total there are 22 victims in seven healthcare institutions. There are seven victims in Woonzorgcentrum Meerspoort in Oudenaarde, in the Oudenaarde Hospital there are three.
Movies were made of six people in Gavere. That happened in the Mariahuis residential care center. In Maarkedal, two people were filmed in the Samaritaan residential care center. A video was also made in the Hospital of Ronse. The last facility where they struck was the residential care center of Opbrakel, Sint-Franciscus. There are two victims.
ZB admitted that he had made a video in the De Branding care institution in Kortrijk. In all affected healthcare institutions, reports were responded to the facts. (PMA)
