The first season of « Ronja Robber’s Daughter » ran on TV at Christmas 2024. In six new episodes, Ronja and Birk continue their adventures, who challenge their friendship and courage. Episode 1 – The departure: Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at 5:15 p.m.
Mattis wants to get rid of the rival Borka gang. Ronja is lured into the forest, where soldiers try to kidnap them to get Mattis under their violence.
Episode 2 – hostage exchange: Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at 5:55 p.m.
Ronja and Birk return to their clans, but escalate the conflicts. Violating Mattis, Ronja Birk meets in the forest, and they forge a plan against the rivals.
Episode 3 – The cave: Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at 6:35 p.m.
Ronja and Birk flee from wild druks. Instead of returning to their old camps, they look for refuge in an abandoned bear cave and enjoy their newly gained freedom.
Episode 4 – ambush: Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, at 5:50 p.m.
Ronja and Birk tame horses while Smavis chases the robbers. A bait attracts both gangs into the forest, where Mattis and Borka meet.
Episode 5 – the avalanche: Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, at 6.30 p.m.
Lovis sets out to free Mattis from Smavis’ captivity. Then she tries to move Ronja to return, which triggers conflicts with Birk.
Episode 6 – The gang: Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, at 7:15 p.m.
The castle of the Mattis gang is besieged. Mattis and Borka have to alleviate to survive while Ronja is in danger.

« Ronja Robber’s Daughter », based on Astrid Lindgren’s classic children’s book, tells the story of Ronja and her journey in a world full of conflicts and adventures. The rivalry between two robber gangs, led by Mattis and Borka, forms the core of the series. The focus is on Ronja’s development, which is shaped by her father’s conflicts and the encounter with new challenges.
When Ronja and Birk outgrow the clans of their families, they find refuge in the freedom of the forests. While they assert themselves against dangerous enemies such as wild drences and the warrior Smavis, their friendship and mutual courage grow. The series shows both the dynamics between the gangs and the inner conflict of the characters. Despite the tensions between Mattis and his daughter, the focus is also on the cohesion of the families when they have to defend themselves against external threats such as besieging soldiers and the insidious plans of their opponents.
