Britain plans to deploy soldiers in Ukraine for five years / day

British soldiers will be training and renovating the Ukrainian armed forces, the newspaper’s interlocutors said.

The British will cooperate with other Western peacekeeping contingents and will be in « European Leadership ». Britain is also preparing to protect Ukrainian air and sea space.

The sending of peacekeepers to Ukraine was discussed on April 10 at a meeting of the Defense Ministers of 30 countries.

The talks took place at NATO headquarters without US participation.

The efforts to create a coalition of goodwill to send soldiers to Ukraine are led by Britain and France.

According to the plans, coalition forces in Ukraine will be deployed after the peace agreement is concluded between Moscow and Kijiv.

Western soldiers in Ukraine will have to ensure critical infrastructure safety. They will not be located along the contact line.

The number of peacekeepers can reach up to 30,000 people, the Times previously reported.
