Braniewo. The prosecutor’s office decided on a priest who irritated the dog
When the recording of the priest’s behavior saw the light of day, caused a lot of agitation. Internet users criticized the priest. One of the neighbors apparently joked that the dog from the movie « knows people ». In the village it was said that Fr. Bogdan was aggressive, because earlier several people refused to let him into home and accept the carol. Everyone was convinced that the priest would be responsible for his behavior. Two recipes were taken into account: irritation of the animal, which as a result can become dangerous, for which there is a penalty of up to PLN 1,000 or reprimand and abuse of an animal, for which three years in prison threatens. The court would be decided by the court after the prosecutor’s office was made.

Only that there will be no such indictment. The prosecutor’s office discontinued the case. This is outraged by the Viva! Foundation, which deals with animal rights. A long statement on this matter has been included on her social media profile.
With indignation, but without surprise we accepted the decision to discontinue the priest’s proceedings, who in January in Wysoka Braniewska abused the dog through his malicious scaring and irritation. Representatives of the Foundation add that due to the fact that the decision on discontinuation does not require justification, they can only guess that the prosecutor’s office decided that the perpetrator of the act did not commit a crime, despite the fact that the recording of the situation indicates something completely different.
« In our opinion, the perpetrator threatened the dog and did it in a malicious way, because the dog did not threaten him. We will complain about the court in this case and repeat the argument that we have already presented » – the entry was completed.
