Axel Bosse aka « Aki » Bosse was born on February 22, 1980 in Braunschweig and is a German pop musician. His live band also bears the name Bosse.

Musically, he started with the band Hyperchild, which was under contract with Sony Music. After their resolution, he started his solo career from 2003 and formed a live band with experienced musicians such as Björn Krüger, Thorsten Sala and Theofilos Fotiadis. His debut album « Kamikaßeherz » was released in 2005, followed by « Guten Morgen Spinner » in 2006 and later by « Taxi » 2009. With « Wartesaal » (2011) he achieved more attention, especially through the song « Frankfurt/Oder ». His fifth album, « Kraniche », brought influences from trips to Istanbul and Umbria.

“Enganz” was published in 2016, which was the first album to reach number 1 on the German charts. 2018 followed “Everything is now” with a successful tour and over 100,000 visitors. Bosse worked with artists such as Casper and Oliver Koletzki and took part in competitions such as the Bundesvision Song Contest, which he won in 2013.

With several albums in the top 5 of the charts, including two top positions, the Braunschweiger is one of the most famous singer-songwriters in Germany. He has been inspiring fans in sold -out arenas and on festival stages for years. He signed his first record contract at the age of 17, but the way to the big breakthrough was long – 14 years passed, shaped by ups and downs.
