« These discussions are not easy – especially after this terrible violence – but we all support the search for President Trump for peace, » added NATO head at a press conference alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Mark Rutte pointed out that « other allies, » namely through initiatives led by France and the United Kingdom, « they are ready, willing and able to assume more responsibilities to help guarantee peace when this moment comes. »
NATO Secretary-General condemned the Russian attack against the city of Sumi last Sunday, which made more than 30 civilians and more than 100 injured: « This is simply outrageous. It is part of a terrible standard of Russian attacks on civil targets and infrastructure throughout Ukraine. »
Atlantic alliance official reiterated Zelensky that « the NATO is with Ukraine. »
« I know that some have questioned NATO’s support in recent months, but there is no doubt: our support is unshakable, » he said.

The so -called coalition of countries willing to help Ukraine is led by the United Kingdom and France and is made up of countries that have shown availability to send a military contingent to Ukraine, once the war is over as a guarantee of security.
