Bomb news on the Romanian travel market
Bomb news on the tourism market in Romania: Parallel 45 is not one hundred percent Romanian. The travel agency announces the merger with one of the largest travel agencies in Poland.
The preliminary fusion agreement was concluded on May 15, the final documents to be
signed at the end of June 2025, after fulfilling the standard prior conditions including
obtaining the consent of the Competition Council.
Alin Burcea, CEO and the founder of Paralela45, says that the Romanian tourists, but also the hotel owners will only have to win this transaction:
“We add to our portfolio the exotic destinations that Rainbow Tours is specialized and we will make several types of circuits in Poland, a country with an extraordinarily interesting history, little known from a tourist point of view.
At the same time, we do incoming from Poland! We bring Polish tourists to Romania, not only for stays on the Romanian coast, but also for circuits and relaxation in the Balneo resorts.
It helps us that Romania and Poland are linked by several direct races operated by Lot Polish Airlines and Wizz Air, which arrive from Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca to Warsaw or from Bucharest to Cracovia ”.
