Bolojan and Ciolacu, « visit » by the European Commissioner on the budget
The European Commissioner for the Budget, anti -fraud and public administration, Piotr Serafin, will meet in Bucharest on Thursday with interim president Ilie Bolojan and Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu.
It will be received at 10:00 by the interim president Ilie Bolojan, and at 11:30 he will go to the Victoria Palace, for a discussion with the head of the Executive, according to the official agendas.
The representative of the European Commission makes a two -day visit to Romania.
According to the representative of the European Commission in Bucharest, the visit will be focused on improving social inclusion, job creation and consolidating local communities with the help of EU funds.
During the visit, discussions will take place with the authorities and parties interested in better supporting the economic growth of Romania and aligning the country’s priorities to the plans for the future EU budget.
This visit is part of the Pan -European consultations made by the European Commission before presenting the next long -term EU budget, planned for July this year.
The European Commissioner Piotr Serafin will also meet with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Cătălin Predoiu, to discuss security, border protection and migration management, with emphasis on the essential role that belongs to Romania in protecting the external borders of the EU.
Serafin will also discuss with businessmen and investor groups in Romania to find out about how current EU funds operate.
On Friday, he will travel to Oradea, where he will visit important infrastructure projects, such as the County Hospital and Oradea Airport.
