Body is not a mistake – surgery is just correction
In the new episode of the podcast Co -driver we talked to dr. Igor Višnjarthe aesthetic surgeon of the younger generation who, without embellishment, reveals the background of beauty surgeries. His gaze is realistic, ethical and without illusions: « Women do not get their nose – they come for a feeling, » he says.
Surgery is not magic but responsibility
Cherry emphasizes that the role of an aesthetic surgeon is multifaceted: technical, emotional and ethical.
“Patients who already have all the ideal proportions but are not happy with themselves are the most vulnerable. It is then that your job is to say no. ”The beauty intervention of him is not a quick solution to life’s hardships, but can be part of the path to personal peace – if it is led by the correct reason.
Mom’s surgery was the most personal
One of the more prominent moments in conversation with surgeon dr. Igor Višnjar was a description of the operation he performed on his own mother. “When someone who gave you life comes to you at the operating table, you have a special sense of responsibility. This is not stress in the classic sense – it is an inner silence that reminds you that you really have to make a mistake now. «

The body is not an error
Social networks and idealized beauty standards are increasingly forcing and doubting. Cherry notes that patients often come with a clear desire, but often do not understand why they really want it. “The body is not a mistake. It is a wrong social assumption that you have to have a specific appearance to be worthy of attention or love. «
Between aesthetics and psychology
With each intervention, a psychological component also comes. « Surgeons are often the first psychological filter, » he says. His practice involves long consultations, sometimes even rejection of surgery. The Višnjar does not want to be a surgeon who headlessly follows patient requirements. He prefers the role of a consultant – someone who can direct, not just perform.
Aesthetics of the future: fewer extremes, more feeling
What is a trend in contemporary aesthetics? The Višnjar believes that the extremes are past. “Most patients do not want perfection. They only want harmonies – that their external image would match the inner idea of themselves. ”This is already part of treatment that is not only physical but also emotional.
