Bodies were fished out of the Bug. Who are these two men?
The bodies of two men in the Bug River were discovered on Tuesday by Border Guard officers and WOT soldiers – said spokesman for the Bug River SG, Capt. Dariusz Sienicki.
In turn, young asp. Katarzyna Gągolińska from the police in Biała Podlaska said that the corpse was largely decomposition. The prosecutor decided to conduct an autopsy. Investigators will determine the identity of the victims and the causes of their death.
Corpse in the Bug. The border guard puts a hypothesis
The Border Guard does not exclude that the bodies found near the town of Stary Bubel belong to people who illegally tried to get from Belarus to Poland.
– In that region, some time ago, while trying to cross the state border illegally by a larger group of people, we received information about people who could drown – said Capt. Sienicki.
After this notification, firefighters and SG officers for two days were searching – divers, Sonar and Łódź were ordered. At that time, no one was found.
Provocation of Belarusian services? They pushed migrants into the water
The deputy head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration Maciej Duszczyk referred to the case on TVP Info. He revealed that the corpse probably belongs to people who « were pushed by the Belarusian services into the water. » This took place in mid -March.
– This is one of the elements of provocation. There were a dozen people who were pushed into the water. Some of them managed to save – Polish border guards, seeing drowning people, gave them help. (…) Some people probably couldn’t swim, so they could drown on the Belarusian side and their bodies sailed on our side – he added.
The deputy head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration also referred to the point where the corpse flowed. As he explained, the river current changed, and the water level after recent rainfall has risen.
We would like to remind you that on April 5, the border guard from Janów Podlaski found a man’s corpse in the Bug Bug. The body was brought out by firefighters. It was subjected to the section and the identity of the deceased is determined.
