Belsele

In the Tuinlaan in Belsele (Sint-Niklaas) a major accident happened just before 8 o’clock on Sunday morning, in which a passenger car missed a bend and ended up against a diver. Director and passenger were seriously injured.

A BMW with two young men on board drove in the direction of Sint-Niklaas, when the driver missed a turn about 200 meters before a roundabout. The vehicle ended up in the canal at high speed and ended up against a small diver. He practiced almost as Schans, which caused the car to fly in the air and ended up in the canal fifteen meters further to end up on the road.

The driver was able to crawl out of wreck on his own, but the passenger was pinched with his legs. He had to be freed by the fire brigade and medical services. Both were seriously injured and were transferred to the hospital.
