Bloody showdown at Solin: killed him for debt and burned him. The police arrested a famous brothers

The day after the discovery of the burned body in an abandoned house above Rupotin near Solin, Split police, according to information Free Dalmatiaarrested four people who put in a relationship with a brutal murder. The victim is, as unofficially learned, a 45-year-old man, a longtime heroin addict known to the police, whose identity was confirmed thanks to the tattoo on the face and keys found near the body.

It is assumed that a man was killed in another location, after an agreed meeting, and then transferred to an abandoned facility and burned, to make it difficult to identify and cover up traces of the crime. The man was last seen a week ago and his disappearance was not reported.

The motive is still being explored, but it is speculated that it is a debt for drugs, jealousy and personal conflicts. The brothers Igor and Branko Dokić, Marko Gilić called Fast and Vilko Halbärth from Trogir were arrested.

Igor Dokić, is one of the most famous members of the Split Narko-Milje. In 2010, he was among the main accused in the great police action « Parangal », aimed at breaking the heroic network from the Split district of Split. He was sentenced to seven years in prison for drug trade. In 2016, Dokić also caused an incident during a police chase in Solin, when he spilled heroin through the roof of the car during his escape and injured a police officer by overturning his foot.

A firearm was also found in his apartment. Two years later, in 2018, he was reported for the abduction of a former partner, physical abuse and death threats – a woman managed to save herself with a jump out of the car on the move. The last major incident is related to May 2024, when he injured Kristijan Stojanovic in a clash in the apartment in Split with a sharp subject.

Branko Dokic, Igor’s younger brother, is also known to the police. In January 2020. He was finalized to three years in prison for possessing over 100 grams of cocaine and a smaller amount of ecstasy. He was arrested in Split Grip in the company of famous faces from criminal circles. Back in 2010, he was sentenced to two years in prison for helping in a series of armed robberies in Dalmatia.
