Blatter and Platini are convinced of a new acquittal

« When you talk about frauds, lies and deceptions, this is not me, it's not in my life, » Blatter said in a short conversation with many media representatives, while Platini's lawyer added: « My client completely rejects all the allegations. »

Blatter (88), who looked very weak at the hearing, and 69-year-old Platina are charged with fraud, forgery and abuse. The Swiss court in Bellinzoni acquired Blatter and Platini in 2022 allegations of bribery, but filed a complaint after the acquittal. At the court process, which ended three years ago, Blatter explained all the time that it was a multi -year repayment of counseling premiums, and the presidents of both relationships agreed orally. The prosecution, on the other hand, argued that FIFA did not have a legal basis for Platini to pay two million francs.

Three years ago, the court decided on the principle of « and Dubio pro reo » and gave Blatter and Platini due to lack of evidence and acquitted them. Their case was well -suffered by the international football scene, and both Blatter and Platini had to leave their positions because of this.

The post of President Fife was taken over in February 2016 by Switzerland Gianni Infantinoand in September this year, the first man of Uefa became a Slovenian Alexander Cheferin.
