Blackout paralyzed the London subway
Blackout on the London subway has caused chaos in transport, with significant delays and several routes.
Transport for London (London Transport) has announced that Bakerloo, Waterloo & City, Weaver and Suffragette lines have been shut down, with serious delays in Elizabeth, Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly.
In accordance with Skynewsa subway spokesman said there was a power outage in the southwestern London area that lasted a few minutes, resulting in « everything stopped », considering it to be a « problem of the National Power Network ».

He confirmed that « some passengers may have been trapped in tunnels for a short time. »

The service has announced that work is underway to restore network operation, but it cannot yet assess when the problem will be completely resolved, nor provide more information.
At Paddington Station, staff carried the passengers with luggage away from the Elizabeth line, proposing alternative bus routes, while the entrance to the Bakerloo line remained closed.
