BKK workers said goodbye to Katalin Walter
Katalin Walter, CEO of the Budapest Transport Center (BKK), will leave his post after five years. BKK staff bid farewell to their leader in a touching letter stating that under Walter’s control, the company had risen to a new level not only professionally but also humanly. The CEO submitted his dismissal after the Metropolitan Assembly declared the BKK and BKV CEO applications ineffective.
The workers emphasized in their letter that under the leadership of Katalin Walter For the first time in the history of BKK Stability was formed in which the decisions were made along thoughtful plans and definite goals. « When we turned into a community because you paid special attention to this. When we could look up to who led us because we saw it smart, prepared and very human in every situation » – they wrote.
The letter reveals that the news of departure has shocked the workers.
