Bird days at Riga Zoo / Day
With the traditional bird days, the Riga Zoo celebrates spring every year – the time of nature awakening. During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in the usual woodpecker workshop at both venues and make bird cages themselves. They will be built for pupils or thrushes. The cage will be made from 12.00 to 3 pm, but it should be taken into account that the amount of available materials is limited, so it is desirable to arrive in time to miss this option, the organizers point out. The workshop will take place with the company Lidl support. Each workshop -made cage will be able to take with them and place them in their yard or other and birds.
During the Bird Days in Riga Zoo next weekend, visitors will also be offered a variety of additional activities. Saturday, April 12, from 12.00 to 3 pm at the Environmental Education Center Zinarium There will be a Stop Conodrial Animation Film Workshop.
