« Biology was so boring that I switched »

Isabella Auður Night Matthíasdóttir became Dux Suðurnesja Multicultural School in the most crowded graduation year of the school from the beginning. In total, she received grants of ISK 130,000 and awards and recognition in English, psychology and German.

Isabella was on the social science course and emphasized psychology. « I started on a science course but brought me over because I found biology so boring, » says Isabella.

« I first intended to become a psychiatrist, but then I found the curriculum so boring that I decided to become a psychologist instead. »

This winter, Isabella is aiming to work at Keflavik Airport at Europe Car, but next fall the road is in college. « Maybe I’m going to Denmark, maybe I’ll be here at home. Who knows? »

Moved the countryside between

In 2017, Isabella moved between the country, but for the first years of her life she lived in Berufjörður, East Iceland. However, she has been in FS all her high schooling, and says the teachers have supported themselves well in their studies.

« Most of them were very fun and I will remember many of them for a very long time. »

Fun to dimmita with girlfriends

Outside of school, Isabella likes to meet their girlfriends and take them on an ice cream or for a walk and with them many fun memories of schooling. The girlfriends, however, started high school in a rather unpleasant event.

« On our bus ball, one of my girlfriends pulled after another friend stepped on her leg and I had to take her into the hospital and put a patch. We still ended up somehow having fun this evening, » says Isabella.

The end of the school was a bit more fun, but Isabella says Dimmisio has had the most enjoyable schooling happenings. « We walked along Hafnargata in Keflavik, were taking pictures with police officers and it was just a lot of fun. »
