BINA: Five exhibitions in the Cultural Center of Belgrade opens the prestigious architectural event – Culture
In the Cultural Center of Belgrade, on Tuesday, 22. April, at 7 pm, an exhibition program 20. Belgrade’s international week architecture – Bina 2025, which lasts until 17. May.
StageThe jubilee edition of an important architectural event begins with the opening of five exhibitions, which bring together experts, authors and audiences around the key topics of modern architecture, her heritage and the future.
In the KCB art Gallery and the Art Gallery, the exhibition « Public Architecture » of Milena Kordić and Andreja Dolinka will be presented, which through the presentation of the activities itself and the importance of archiving contemporary architecture, investigates the influence of architectural criticism in the profession and society. The exhibition deals with issues of valuation of space, social responsibility and knowledge of knowledge between generations, promoting a critical approach as a basis for improving life space.
Within the same gallery, visitors will be able to look at the traditional exhibition « Awards and competitions (2024/2025) », organized by the company of the Belgrade Architects. This setting shows the most significant annual architectural awards and urban competitions from the previous twelve months.
In the back of the art gallery, a stage TV program « Belgrade – facilities of modernism » will be broadcast, which deals with the analysis and preservation of the modernist architectural heritage of the capital.
ARTGET Gallery will also host the exhibition « Great Award for Lifetime Aense », indicating the importance of continuity and generational cooperation in the domestic architectural scene. This award takes a central place in Jubilee 20. Bines and has the task of inspired younger generations to build their own practice by relying on predecessors and their contributions.
The exhibition « Belgrade in the 60s and 70s through the lens of Marlies Vujović », which will be set up in the Hall Gallery Artget. Through a rich collection of authentic photos without digital processing, the audience will have the opportunity to see Belgrade and Yugoslavia from the period of intensive development, urban polices and architectural expansion.
The Štašlji « Architecture opponent » Architecture opens in the Gallery « Architecture. » Understanding students of the Faculty of Contemporary Art, under the mentoring of Professor Aleksandra Kušić. The setting through the form of posters explores modern minimum expressions in architecture, through the prism of education and artistic experiment.
This year’s stage brings a strong programming moment in the spirit of jubilee, gathering themes from identity to criticism, from archiving to visionary insights, and invites all citizens to join the celebration of architecture – art shapes our daily environment.
