Billionaire departs with SpaceX boat for the first shipment over the earth’s poles

Four individuals led by a billionaire of cryptocurrencies are preparing to launch Tuesday morning on the first human mission that will fly over the poles on the planet.

Chinese descent Maltese Tun Wang, who became rich by Bitcoin mining, paid an unspecified amount to hire Spacex’s Crew Dragon boat, his space company Mask.

As passengers, Wang chose three people who have in their assets in the poles: Nosting director Janik Michelsen, German Robotics Specialist Rabea Roge and Australian explorer Eric Philips.

None of the four has re -trained in space.

The « FRAM2 » mission, baptized in honor of a Norwegian ship who made missions to the Arctic and Antarctic in the early 20th century, is scheduled to launch from Florida during a 4.5 -hour window opening at 21.46 local time on Monday, 04.46 hours.

The boat will remain in orbit for three to five days before parachutes to the Atlantic outside Florida.

« With the pioneering spirit of the first explorers in the poles, we intend to bring new data and knowledge to promote the long -term goals of space exploration, » Wang said.

No other mission with people has so far flown over the poles, a flight that spends much more fuel than the equatorial missions.

The mission that approached the poles was the Soviet Vostok 6 in 1963, whose trajectory was tilted 65 degrees compared to Ecuador. FRAM2 will reach 90 degrees, which means it will pass just above the geographical poles on the planet.

The mission will thus achieve a historical first, but it is not expected to offer scientific benefits.

« There is nothing special in a polar orbit, » commented John Guinsing, an honorary professor of aeronautics at the University of Ilii in Urban-Shaben.

In the face of the trip, the four amateur astronauts underwent eight -month training including a trip to a secluded facility in Alaska.

During the mission they will carry out 21 scientific experiments, one of which concerns the first mushroom cultivation in space.

The quartet will also undergo a series of medical examinations on the impact of microtivity on the human body, examinations including the first orbit radiographs.

When returning to Earth, the crew will attempt to attempt to get out of Crew Dragon without medical support, in the context of a study of astronauts’ physical condition when returning to Earth.

To date, SpaceX has made five more privately private missions in space. In the latest, Polaris Dawn mission, billionaire businessman Jared Eizakman, who later Donald Trump chose for NASA commanderbecame the First non -professional astronaut who takes a space walk.
