Beware of fraud attempts at ATMs
Shortly before the long Easter weekend, the police warn of a fraud stitch, which, according to Thursday, is unfortunately becoming increasingly popular. In doing so, fraudsters manipulate the card introduction of ATMs in such a way that the bank cards get stuck in the trial money.

As a result, customers are asked by a sticker attached by the fraudsters in addition to the map of the card or even by a supposedly helpful person to enter the secret number of their card in order to clear them again. Of course, this does not have the effect desired by the bank customer, but enables the fraudsters to get over the shoulder to the PIN code via the shoulder also manipulated.
As soon as customers leave the ATM, the fraudsters remove the card and can now debits money from the victim’s account.
How do I protect myself from this scam?
The police remind you to always ensure that the key field is visible to nobody when entering the pin code when entering ATMs. If a card is blocked in the card feed and can no longer be exhausted, never input the PIN code or pass it on to third parties.
Instead, have the bank card locked immediately. This either under the emergency number (+352) 49 10 10 or via the respective smartphone app of your own bank.
