Berlin-Charlottenburg: police officers shoot man
An attacker stabbed a man in a dispute in a Berlin subway station and was fatally injured. The police then had to shoot the attacker, said a police spokesman for German press agency. Before that had the Bz reported.
According to the police, the men had clashed on Saturday afternoon in Sophie-Charlotte-Platz underground station in the west of Berlin. Then one is said to have attacked the other with a knife and injured so badly that he died. The police spokesman said that the alleged attacker then fled to Schloßstraße, which leads from Sophie-Charlotte-Platz to Charlottenburg Castle. There he is said to have threatened emergency services with a knife raised.
