Benefactor Klaipeda resident repaired the library

Regina Baguckiene, the head of the community of the Riverside Quarter, said that there are a total of two outdoor libraries in this quarter, which are actively used by residents, which is evidenced by a large number of books.

One of them on Youth Street has recently been repaired by a stranger and the other on Saulėtekio Street is a new member of the community.

« We are very excited about them, they have worked for us. There are full books, book exchange, people are changing and reading. After the winter, one library glass was broken, maybe the wind broke that glass, but one of our resident put it. We didn’t know what that benefactor was, » she said.

According to R. Baguckienė, volunteer Kęstas noticed another library glass at the end of April. At that time, Klaipeda people were sharing a bicycle path along the Dange River.

« After the help of the Dangė coast, the bicycle path, the volunteer noted that there was a broken outdoor library glass. He offered to fix it himself.
