Belgrade Month Photos: more than 26 exhibitions at 15 locations – Culture
« Belgrade’s Moon Photos (Belgrade Photo Month BPM) brings more than 26 exhibitions, conversations, projections and film presentations, gathering domestic and international talents in researching new perspectives of modern photography, » the organizers of this event announced.
The BPM Festival will be open 7. May in different locations around the city.
It will start in the house of the legacy, will continue through the Museum of Applied Arts, and end at the Yugoslav Cinematheque Museum, including 15 locations.
The main event is the Project of the Courtney Roy (Kourtney Roy) entitled « and Drink – New Orleans », which will have its own European premiere in the Belgrade month of photography.
Vivid, film journey through streets, bars and hidden corners with documentary fragments, Roy evokes the beauty of the city, its eccentric characters and fragile magic, offering playful, as well as a melancholic portrait of place where reality and fantasy are intertwined.

Katarina Markovic will be presented with the Project in Passing, which was previously seen in the Sarajevo Festival (Sarajevo Photography Festival), will present the BPM Festival as Ambassador in Verona.
The organizers as a special event are announced by the « postconflict » in the Balkans Cinema within which 24 projects will be shown.
