Belgian tourist (28) survives falls of tens of meters of gorge in Crete: Man is injured in the head and bone

A 28-year-old young man was seriously injured on the Greek island of Crete after he had fallen 25 meters down on the Berg Gingilos, near the famous Samaria gorge. According to HLN Is it a Belgian who lives and works in the Netherlands. The man was injured on his head and bone and was forced to spend the night outside, waiting for help.
The authorities report this in Crete. A photo has been released showing that the twenties are being drained on a stretcher. The young tourist was still in the hospital with injuries on Tuesday, but luckily they were not worrying after research.
The tourist lost his balance in the hilly region due to an unknown cause, the first conclusion was, and therefore fell down. A short time later, a group of Greek walkers who passed the place saw the twenties injured. They immediately called the alarm line.
Rescue operation lasted many hours
The man could nevertheless only be located after a rescue operation that lasted many hours. He had fallen into the whimsical area on the evening of Easter Monday. No fewer than 18 firefighters were called in to find and save the fellow countryman. In the first instance, a helicopter was called in, but he was unable to land in the area, where it was decided to look for the young man on foot.
After the firefighters, in collaboration with other emergency services, had succeeded in finding him, it was now Tuesday morning, they had to stop in the journey several times because it was very tough for the emergency services, and also because of the tourist’s medical condition.
Ultimately, on arrival above, the boy was transferred to the Chania hospital by ambulance personnel in an ambulance. In addition to a head trauma, the young man also sustained leg injury. He was subsequently treated in the neurosurgical clinic of the hospital.
