Belgian army gets ‘chef drone’

In the war between Ukraine and Russia, drones are omnipresent. With disastrous consequences on both sides.

Our army must also learn the necessary lessons and experiences. And that is why Defense Minister Theo Francken (N-VA) has appointed a high general chef drone. Michel van Strythem, who was previously at the head of the military intelligence service and was then boss of the Cyber ​​Command, must now learn to fight both with and against drones. This concerns both the land, air force and the navy.
