Chinese Prime Minister Lee Chiang said today that Beijing and Washington should choose dialogue instead of confrontation. He said this during a meeting with US Senator Steve Dayse, who discussed tensions over trade customs duties and the fight against illegal drug trafficking.
Daines is the first member of the Congress to visit Beijing since Trump took office in January. Leaders of several US companies – Fedex CEO Raj Subramanian, Boeing Vice President Brendan Nelson and Page CEO Albert Burlev were present during the meeting with Lee.
