Bojnice. The Town Hall plans a comprehensive reconstruction of the bourgeois house on Hurbanovo Square in Bojnice. The National Cultural Monument from 1700, also known as a beer, is in poor technical condition. In particular, the roof in the southern part of the building, which is gradually disintegrating, must be solved acutely.
The city wants to draw subsidies from Eurofunds or the state budget, which will not allow the commercial use of the building to the extent of today.
MEPs at the April council therefore approved the termination of lease contracts with the first two operations located in the building and have a twelve -month notice period.
The owners of the Bojnice restaurants concerned do not agree with their decision, have turned to lawyers and do not exclude a lawsuit with the city.
Hourly House in Bojnice
It is one of the oldest farm buildings in Bojnice. The name Pivár is derived from the fact that there was a brewery here since the beginning of the 19th century.
In 1865 it burned down and then its original function ended. Later, the building was used for various purposes, there was a single secondary masonry school in Slovakia, there were classes of the Bojnice Elementary School and also an art school, as well as a notarial office.
For Baťa they were in the building of the garage, where the cars were shut down, later the first Bojnice buses. From the back there were apartments for coaches and bus drivers.
In the fifties of the twentieth century, commercial operations were added there, and the construction was declared a national cultural monument in the 1960s.

The building is in an emergency state
The non -compliant condition of the building was pointed out by the Regional Monuments Board in Trenčín, which carried out state monument supervision. He warned the city that part of the roof was in an emergency state and needs to be replaced.
« The monument would need an overall reconstruction and we believe that it will be secured as soon as possible. We also count on the restoration of plasters and the renovation of the sundial, » said Zuzana Strašková, head of the Prievidza Regional Monuments Board in Trenčín.

She added that the appearance of the building should return to the original expression from the beginning of the twentieth century.
The city has prepared a project for a comprehensive reconstruction of the entire building, which, according to the management, is also necessary for deficiencies in energy efficiency. The city has already invested hundreds of thousands of euros in the project, it also has a valid building permit.
« Nothing prevents us from applying for subsidy sources that should be sufficient in the coming time. However, almost all calls limit the economic activity in public buildings, » said Vice -Prime Minister Bojnice Antónia Kováčová Píšová.
Will testify all lease contracts
This means that in the building, after reconstruction from subsidy sources, it would not be possible to use the commercial use of the premises to the extent as it is today.
For this reason, it is necessary to proceed with the termination of lease contracts to all nine operations in the building.
The city would still like to operate in the building even after the renovation café. « If the conditions of the relevant call allow this, we will include the interest in the commercial use of part of the building in the application, » said the vice -deputy.
At the April council, the municipal deputies approved the termination of the contracts with the first two restaurants that had a lease agreement with the city with a notice period of twelve months in the past.

Owners of operations are against
The owners of the operations concerned do not agree with the decision of the deputies. « Years ago we succeeded in the selection procedure and we rented the premises of the then pub in the desolate state, » recalls the owner of Bojnice restaurants Under the vaults Marek Horn.
Its originally planned investment in the renovation of premises of EUR 50,000 increased to 140,000. At that time, he concluded a lease for twenty years with a twelve -month notice period. It was to be valid until 2032.
