Beckham from captain to mannequin and from mannequin to knight
David Beckham will receive a knight’s title as part of the events that take place at the celebration of the Royal Birthday, reporting next week, reporting The Guardian. British sovereigns celebrate his birthday every year on the holiday Greetings to setwhich will take place next time on June 15.
The former English footballer will receive the title of Sir David Beckham, and his wife Victoria, a former member of the Spice Girls band, will become Lady Beckham.
After the end of his football career, Beckham never stepped far from the public eye. After hanging his swimwear on a wedge, he (even more seriously) went into mannequin waters and settled with his family. In 2023, a documentary about his life was published at Netflix, where he revealed that he was now also engaged in beekeeping.

He is primarily known for his outstanding football career, in which he has played for the national team more than a hundred times, played for Real Madrid, Milan, Manchester United, and has concluded his career in Paris.
The name of the knight, however, did not only bring him a reputation from the grass. He has been cooperating with charities for many years to help children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. He has been the Unicef ambassador for over twenty years and has received a special award from the World Economic Forum this year for achievements in the field of children’s rights.
Upon receipt of the award, he called for the present to fight for women’s rights. He mentioned that he wants his daughter the same conditions for life as his sons. « We need to give women opportunities and we have to invest in them, » he said.
Beckham was distinguished in 2003 with both (Order of the British Empire) and is expected to receive the title of knight in 2011, but this honor always slipped. In 2011, the award was postponed due to tax evasion, which was allegedly involved by former football players Wayne Rooney and Gary Lineker. Beckham was acquitted four years ago.
Nevertheless, he maintained close contact with the British Royal Family and attended numerous official events, including a recent visit to the Festival of Flowers in Chelsea, where he was in the company of King Karl III. and Queen Camille.
In May, Beckham stepped into a new chapter and became one of the owners of the Saltford City football club. Upon acquisition, he said that he wants to qualify for the Premier League with the club that competed in the fourth English league this year.
